"La Grande Dame"

This beauty wasn't always a head-turner.  She was discovered in a humble thrift store in East L.A., where I snatched her up because of her pretty curved handle and unusual attached pedestal base.  With care, I covered her with plaster roses, hand-shaping each petal one-by-one.  All my pieces are sealed with a matte waterproof sealer, so no need to worry about water affecting the plaster.  While this piece has been sold, I have other beautiful pitcher vases waiting in the wings for their own makeover!
