Madonna and Child Sculpture Upcycle

"The lovliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the love of a mother"--St. Thérèse de Lisieux.  I have found my true passion of finding second-hand store treasures (aka "junk") and transforming it into something new and wonderful with plaster artistry.  Here I took a resin bust of Madonna and Child that I found at Goodwill.  I wasn't sure what I would do with it at the time I bought it, but I knew it would be something romantic and shabby chic.  She stands 18" tall, 12" wide and 8" deep and is quite heavy.
