Decorative plaster for sculpture painting "Cote d'Azur"
Tinted plaster for work in the author's technique of Eugenia Yermilova "Sculptural painting" color "Cote d'Azur".
Decorative plaster "Cote d'Azur" has a clean light shade of blue. In sculptural painting, decorative plaster of the “Cote d'Azur” color can be used both to create a background and for flowers and other elements. Azure color is well combined with cold shades of gray, for example with "Ashen" and "Asphalt". Azure flowers, created on a gray background, will be especially bright and colorful. To create a gradient in the petals, the azure color can be complemented with other shades of the blue palette: Cornflower, Classic Blue and Aquamarine. And for the delicate colors in the picture “Cote d'Azur” can be supplemented with flowers made of plaster “Pink smoke”, “Powder” or “Lilac”.
The clear shade of blue color of the plaster resembles the summer sky and the sea waves running out onto the white sand. And the name of the plaster "Cote d'Azur" immediately takes us to the sea in our fantasies. Interestingly, the steady expression "Cote d'Azur", which is associated with beautiful sea and beautiful beaches, appeared thanks to a little-known writer. The name was invented by the French writer Stefan Liegear, who in 1870 published the novel "Cote d'Azur". He described the south-eastern Mediterranean coast of France. In fact, the word "Azure" is derived from the phrase "blue stone" and means the color of the azurite mineral and the dye azur.

Detailed information about working with decorative plaster is contained in my video courses .
The shelf life of the plaster in a tightly closed package is up to 2 years. Outdoors dries in 1-7 days depending on the layer. After drying, it becomes firm as a stone. Practically does not shrink. Does not crack when dry, subject to proper drying technology (do not use a building dryer)
Available in plaster colors can be found in the catalog. When thickened, it is possible to add a little water and mix thoroughly, without beating.
After complete drying, it is recommended to cover with matte varnish. This will protect the work from moisture and UV rays.
